Response to Chapter 6

I would prefer to teach in a classroom that includes more digital technology. Besides these technologies being extremely useful teaching aids, they also further a child's knowledge about the technology themselves. As they grow and advance in their schooling they will need to know about technologies such as scanners, digital cameras, graphics tablets, touch screens, electronic whiteboards and so many others. The world requires technological knowledge. There is literally software for every aspect of education. I think I would also enjoy using these different forms of technology to aid in my lesson plans. Scanners go hand-in-hand with digital cameras in transferring picture and text data onto a computer. I would also like to try out teaching with an electronic whiteboard. My calculus teacher used one and it made more understandable.
